Pinarta Art Therapy is an initiative taken by Mrs. Dayaline Sivakumar, to help people of all age groups see and deal with life from a creative perspective. She uses several art therapy techniques and activities to help you activate your happy hormones. 

 

She quotes, "Research demonstrates that art improves not only our quality of life but also is effective in reducing pain, fatigue and stress and increasing cognitive abilities and emotional well being. Seeing these effects take fruition in my participants is incredibly gratifying."

THE EXPERIENCE

When asked about her experience in the field, Dayaline says "I have conducted art therapy sessions for geriatric population in groups and individually. The sessions are interactive and lively with participants talking about their past, exchanging stories, singing, sharing and enjoying their artwork. Working with various age groups has been a fulfilling experience. Participants find this non judgmental mode of expression a safe space to explore and express their emotions."
